MAGNETIC T9

Conventional concept frame intended for points track races made of 7020T6 aluminium alloy. The model is tried and tested on the track by experienced professionals. It is made of oversized tubes, ensuring very high rigidity. A high level of rigidity is essential for the conversion of force into acceleration, which is the decisive element during points races.

Track disciplines have a highly specific character, and virtually every rider knows his optimum riding position and geometry. Thanks to its own custom production, Duratec can adjust the frame geometry precisely to the requirements of the competitor. This parameter is often decisive, because if the riding position is correctly configured, the competitor can convert all the force applied to the pedal into acceleration without any loss.

The possibility of changing geometry according to the rider's build has expanded the group of users to include the junior categories, where according to the latest complex training trends mountain bike riders also use track disciplines for speed training. Track bikes for juniors are available from 46 cm up.

Full carbon Flatly C fork, with dimensions smoothly merging with the frame crown and giving the frame set a compact look. We supply the fork in the required colour according to frame colour. The post diameter is 1 1/8", and it weighs 340 g. As an alternative we offer an ITA 500 aluminium fork. You can find out more on the Configuration page.

Rear triangle

The down tube of the frame has a variable circular cross-section, by which we optimise the weight of the frame in terms of the required rigidity. The down tube is reinforced at the bottom bracket in order to ensure a high level of lateral rigidity. The rear triangle is designed to accept conventional wheels and a rear disc wheel.

The rear dropouts are designed to allow the shift of the wheel in a range of 25 mm for the correct tensioning of the chain during a change of transmission (chainring and sprockets). The frame dropout is protected by an aluminium insert. If it wears out, it can be replaced with a new one.
